Did you know that the Vatican City is the smallest sovereign state or territory in the world with only 77 hectares and 800 inhabitants? Situated in Rome and home to some incredible buildings and artefacts this little city is a must see in Rome. If it is St. Peter’s Basilica or the Sistine Chapel, you can spend our in this little enclave to visit some of the most renowned tourist attractions in the world. it is also the home and the catholic church which makes it every year a place of people to pilgrim to.
I visited Rome a couple of years ago and enjoyed the Vatican City a lot. I never saw a more impressive building than St. Peter’s and would recommend to everybody to visit this place once in your life.
